Founded by licensed builder Jake Manning and his wife Emily, Manning Homes was born from a shared dream to create a business that blends quality with personalised service.

Jake began his carpentry apprenticeship at 16 and has been building ever since. Emily, who grew up in Forster and has a background in health, brings warmth, organisation, and thoughtful design insight to the business.

After years of working in the industry and raising a young family, we relocated to Forster in 2024 with a clear purpose: to offer a genuine, family-first approach to custom home building. Together, our focus is on delivering high-quality, tailored homes to families across Forster-Tuncurry and surrounding areas - while raising our own two kids right here in the community.

We understand how busy life can be, especially with little ones, which is why we’re flexible, understanding, and committed to making the process as stress-free as possible. Jake is on-site, leading the build with care and attention to detail, while Emily manages the office and client experience.

We’re both extremely passionate about delving deeper to understand the emotional drive behind designing your new home – whether it’s more space to host the growing family or securing the ultimate adult’s retreat.
